THE BRAND
NN Beachwear was born from a personal need.
As a Brazilian living by the ocean in the Algarve, I was looking for swimwear that felt beautiful, comfortable, high-quality and made with care for the planet. I quickly realized that finding all of these qualities in one bikini wasn't easy.
That's how NN Beachwear began.
I wanted to create pieces that women would truly love to wear—timeless designs that feel flattering, comfortable and made to last, without compromising on sustainability.
For me, creating a brand any other way simply never made sense.
Every collection is produced in small batches, with carefully selected materials and attention to every detail, encouraging a more conscious way of consuming fashion.
MEET ANNA
Hi! I'm Anna, the founder of NN Beachwear.
I'm originally from the south of Brazil and grew up surrounded by creativity. My family worked with sewing and patchwork, and from an early age I fell in love with fashion and the creative process behind every piece.
At 11, I moved to the coast, where my lifelong connection with the ocean grew even stronger. ears later, when I was 18 and had moved to Portugal, I struggled to find bikinis that combined comfort, quality, beautiful design and sustainability.
So I decided to create my own.
What began as a personal need soon became NN Beachwear—
a brand inspired by Brazilian beach culture, life in the Algarve and a love for conscious fashion.
Today, nothing makes me happier than seeing women across Europe wearing NN Beachwear and coming back summer after summer.

WHY "BENNEDITA"?
One of the questions I get asked the most is:
"Is your name Bennedita?"
The answer is no.
Bennedita is actually the name of my cat.
I know it might sound unusual for a swimwear brand, but she taught me one of the most important lessons of my life.
Before we adopted her, Bennedita had been returned by four different families. She was terrified of people and would hide from everyone. When she came home with us, she spent more than a week under my bed, too scared to come out. I couldn't touch her or even get close.
Little by little, she started watching me from a distance while I slept. After a couple of weeks, she finally let me pet her—but only if I didn't look directly at her. Every tiny step happened in her own time.
Then, just as she was beginning to trust us, she escaped. She was supposed to stay indoors for another month while she settled in, but she disappeared for two days.
When she came back, something had changed.
She walked into the living room, jumped onto our laps and acted as if she had always belonged there.
That was the moment I understood something I'll never forget:
Everything has its own timing.
You can't force trust.
You can't rush growth.
You have to respect the process.
NN Beachwear was built with that same belief.
Every collection, every challenge and every milestone has happened in its own time. And just like Bennedita, the most beautiful things happen when we stop forcing them and learn to trust the journey.
